Annual general report: a look back at 2022

2022 was a challenging year on many levels. Not least because of the visit by the JCI auditors, which was followed by a positive assessment and a well-deserved re-accreditation. In addition, the personal union with St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze intensified this year, culminating in the decision to move forward as a single non-profit organisation as from 1 January 2024. This upcoming union has been under the expert management of a cross-hospital executive committee since 1 January 2023. We firmly believe that working together means greater overall strength.
