Digital receipt and payment of patient invoices

Patients of the Maria Middelares General Hospital may receive and pay their hospital invoices digitally, provided that the hospital has the patient's email address. The hospital sends out approximately 17,000 digital invoices on a monthly basis.

E-mail is environmentally friendly

Our hospital instituted digital invoicing for patients in 2021. With this process, patients receive their invoice via e-mail, which is more environmentally friendly than paper.

User-friendly

Patients can pay their invoice immediately by clicking on a payment button. The payment is automatically forwarded either to the patient’s own bank app or to Payconiq.
