Maria Middelares General Hospital wins award for home monitoring of COVID patients

On Friday 11 June 2021, our hospital won the first Jury Special Mention award within the category of Patient Experience and COVID for our project ’Telemonitoring of COVID Patients in the Home Context As part of this project, certain patients were followed remotely in their familiar (home) context with a user-friendly app.

The award was given out by Shared Patient Experience, a non-profit organisation that encourages European healthcare institutions to improve patient experience.
