New inspiration guide ‘Elder-Friendly Hospital'

Caring for the elderly sometimes requires a bit more patience and a more targeted approach. We strive collectively to treat all our patients in a professional, correct and empathetic manner by exhibiting patience, communicating clearly and allowing the informal carer to participate.

Our hospital collaborated with several other hospitals and Zorgnet-Icuro on the inspiration guide ‘Elder-Friendly Hospital’. This advisory text provides recommendations and shares good practices for a more elder-friendly hospital that has better health outcomes for frail older adults.
