Reaction to a staff member's social media post

Today, we received notice from various sources that one of our staff members had posted racist statements on social media. These statements were harmful for an entire community and for many individuals, including ourselves. We would like to take a public stance against these statements, which are absolutely against the values that we, at our hospital, hold close to our heart.

We take this issue very seriously and have taken the following necessary measures: the employment contract with this staff worker has been terminated with immediate effect, we have filed a report with Unia and we have submitted a complaint against hate speech and racist statements to the police.
