Lemberge rehabilitation hospital gets new name and expands rehabilitation range

On Friday 27 October, Lemberge Rehabilitation Hospital was officially renamed Revales. With this new name comes an expansion of the rehabilitation range. In a brand-new wing, outpatient rehabilitation will now also be offered to patients who are not hospitalised.

The new wing and new name reveal the ambition of the umbrella organisation Zorgband Leie en Schelde. Revales is currently the only specialist rehabilitation hospital in East Flanders. In the future, it should become the centre of expertise for rehabilitation in the region.

Revales currently consists of two wards with a total of 63 beds and provides affordable, safe, accessible and quality customised care in close cooperation with our hospital.

Following long-standing cooperation with the rehabilitation hospital, our hospital has chosen to transfer part of its outpatient rehabilitation. As of October, our hospital's outpatient neurological patients will be able to visit Revales, where the high-quality rehabilitation care they are now accustomed to will continue. This is led by the rehabilitation physicians and some of our hospital's trusted neurotherapists.
