Update on Ghent-Bruges site transformation
The site around the Ghent-Bruges Medical Centre will undergo a metamorphosis over the coming years.
The first phase of the works on the rezoning and redevelopment of our Ghent-Bruges site has started. A number of old buildings have been demolished in the meantime. Now follows the renovation of the outer façade of the clinic building and the conversion of the vacant floors into a HealthTech hub. This will be followed by works on the car park, the construction of a modern sports medical centre, the completion of residential units and the creation of a large park.
The works may cause temporary disruption (re: parking, noise and accessibility). Together with our partners, we try to keep these to a minimum and provide you with maximum information.
An overview of the phasing for the planned works in February and March 2024:
- reverse side A: 4/02 - 9/02
- street side A + B: 12/02 - 1/03
- parking side B + full C: 1/3 - 15/03
The timing depends on weather conditions, among other things. Changes are possible at any time.
From 6/2, the the entrance and exit via Tweekapellenstraatwill be closed. Entry and exit can then only be via Kliniekstraat.
