Our hospital nominated for the 'VBHC Dragons Endorsement 2023' award

Our hospital was one of five nominees, selected from more than 50 international entries, for the 'VBHC Dragons Endorsement 2023' award for the pathway we have developed for chronic lower back pain care. The pathway targets patients who have suffered from lower back pain for more than three months but have not yet undergone surgery for this. After referral by your GP or specialist, you can apply.

This is a multidisciplinary programme that is based on the principles of value-driven care. This pathway is characterised by a carousel of appointments with different health-care professionals that all take place on a single day.
