After your heart surgery: advice for home

You recently underwent heart surgery and you are going home soon.

Before you go home, the physician or nurse will discuss with you what you need to take into account when you return home. Of course, you can then ask questions. But once at home, you might still have all kinds of (practical) questions, for instance about what exactly you can and cannot do.

You can find general information about recovery after heart surgery in the brochure at the bottom of this page. You will also find general rules of life and instructions on the use of blood-thinning drugs.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact the physicians or nurses.
