The Clinical Research Centre takes an active role in scientific research and clinical trials by participating in industry-sponsored as well as academic studies. We also set up academic studies ourselves. Scientific research and clinical studies are essential to developing and optimising medical treatments and techniques. This allows us to provide our patients with access to innovative medication, medical aids and surgical techniques as soon as possible.
Each study is pre-approved by an ethics committee.
Our team is here for you
The Clinical Research Centre employs physician-researchers from various disciplines. They are responsible for conducting clinical trials within their expertise. The physician-researchers are assisted in organising and conducting the studies by study nurses, study coordinators, scientific staff and data analysts. They are also supported by the hospital pharmacy, the lab and the radiology department, among others.
For the legal, administrative and financial processes, the study services are centrally supported by the ethics committee, the Data Protection Officer (DPO), staff members, billing... All these actors together form the Clinical Research Centre.
