In case of cognitive communication disorders, the cause of the communication problems lies in disorders in cognitive functions such as attention, memory and problem-solving skills. Common causes of cognitive communication disorders are lesions in the right hemisphere of the brain and damage to the brain due to brain trauma (after e.g. a traffic accident or a fall).

People who have cognitive communication disorders can visit our unit for an examination and to receive treatment. A one-off (out-of-pocket) consultation or a series of information sessions are also available.
