About us
The Diabetes Team at Maria Middelares General Hospital consists of a group of specialised clinicians, each with a diabetes-related specific expertise. They are supported by diabetes educators (nurses and dietitians), a psychologist and a podiatrist.
In the Diabetes Team, the emphasis is on self-care through coaching and continuing follow-up, customised for the patient.
Innovation is a priority for the Diabetes Team. By offering the latest techniques and treatment methods, we want to achieve maximum improvement of diabetes patients’ quality of life.
