Location
LocationPlease note that there is no emergency department at the medical centre in Aalter and the medical centre in Gentbrugge.
The emergency department is located on level 0, Gate C005.
Once you have arrived at the hospital grounds, follow the signage to 'SPOED' on the various signposts.
Emergency car park
Patients for the emergency department can park their car in the emergency car park under the building.
At the emergency entrance (at the top of the ramp), a limited number of 'Pick-up and drop-off only' spaces are provided for dropping off patients in need. Park the car in the emergency car park immediately afterwards.
To benefit from the standard parking rate, you must have your ticket validated at the emergency reception desk, after which you can pay for your ticket at the machine in the emergency car park. If a ticket is not validated, the double rate will be charged. In this way, we strive to keep the car park fully reserved for emergency patients.
When driving out of the emergency car park, the first barrier opens automatically. The ticket must be presented at the second barrier when leaving the site.
The emergency department is located on the ground floor and has its own entrance via Meulenstraat.
Emergency car park
Patients for emergency admission can park free of charge.
For others using this car park, the rates listed below apply. You can validate your parking ticket at the ticket machine at the emergency department reception or day hospital.
