Andrology - focus on male health

Andrology is the medical specialty focused on the health of the male reproductive system and male sexual health.

With andrology, we mean all problems related to the male sex hormone (testosterone). In order to examine these problems, a blood sample is usually taken (early in the morning). Sometimes imaging or sperm analysis is also required to further treat an andrological problem. If necessary, you will be referred to a urologist.

Together, we form a multidisciplinary team fully committed to providing quality-assured expert care to patients who have sexual and reproductive health issues. We take various aspects of your health into account and work together to offer you the best possible treatments.

Our care offer

Our care offer

At the Health Andrology Outpatients Clinic, we focus on patients with erection problems, infertility and male hormone imbalances.

  • Erection problems: this refers to difficulties in getting or maintaining an erection, which is a common problem in men. Synonyms include erectile dysfunctions or erectile disorders. We also treat other sexual complaints such as: libido problems, premature ejaculation, Peyronie's disease (penis misalignment).
  • Fertility: if you are experiencing difficulties with conceiving a child, we offer care and support to improve your chances. For men, this may relate to sperm and semen quality.
  • Male hormone imbalance: abnormalities in the levels or activity of male hormones, such as testosterone. This imbalance can lead to various health problems, including decreased libido, erection problems, fatigue, mood swings, gynaecomastia (abnormal enlargement of mammary glands in men) and other symptoms related to the endocrine system. We also monitor patients throughout their hormonal therapy or ADT (androgen deprivation therapy) in the context of prostate cancer.
