Programmes and support
An occupational therapist advises and trains people who have difficulties carrying out daily activities. This way, people improve their living, working and relaxing conditions.
Specifically, the occupational therapist will work together to find solutions and/or compensation strategies. This way the patient can keep participating in our rapidly changing society.
More concretely, the focus is for example on exercise sessions, ergonomics, aids, fall prevention and providing information to informal carers and those close to them.
We are happy to provide an overview of activities and programmes in which we participate:
- Fall prevention
- Cognufit: a programme for patients with memory issues and their caregiver(s).
- Dementia: care for the caregiver: focused on caregivers who care for someone with dementia, either at or outside the home.
- Back rehabilitation
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Pulmonary rehabilitation
- Orthopaedic rehabilitation
