Warning signs

Consult your gynaecologist or midwife through the Delivery Unit immediately:

  • have blood loss
  • are leaking fluid
  • have had a fall
  • have severe or regularly repeating pain in the lower abdomen
  • can no longer feel your baby move or feel it moving less
  • have persistent headaches

Certain infections carry the risk of infecting your unborn baby. When pregnant, be careful of the following potential infections:
