Upper and lower jaw correction

  • When? If bite misalignment and/or jaw bone position cannot be corrected by moving the upper or lower jaw bone alone, both jaws will require correction. This can treat more extensive misalignments and major asymmetries.
  • What is it? After the upper and lower jaws have been set to an ideal position, the surgeon fixates them in their new positions with titanium plates and screws.
  • How? The entire procedure is performed through the mouth.
