Pulmonary rehabilitation is a programme that teaches you more about your lung disorder as well as improving your physical condition by training your general fitness and muscle strength.

During the programme, you train, with or without oxygen, twice a week for six months under the supervision of a specialised physical therapist. You also come into contact with an occupational therapist and a dietitian. Together with the physical therapist, they search for the adjustments you can make to be able to resume the activities that you consider important, according to your personal needs.
