What we offer
What we offerWe are happy to offer individualised care for every request for help. We are able to provide diagnostics, recommendations and treatment. Our treatment offerings consist of individual talk therapy, partner relationship therapy, sex therapy, pelvic floor therapy and treatment with medication.
- Within individual talk therapy, it is possible to talk about your problems with sexuality and experiences with sexuality.
- Partner relationship therapy is relevant for both partners, each of whom has his or her own sexuality and relational experience. During the conversations, we allow ample space for the personal experience of each partner. In addition, we look at the communication between the people involved.
- Sex therapy is a specific form of talk therapy, in which psychological education plays an important role. Often, just receiving sound and accurate information will give you a sense of increased calm and reassurance. In addition, assignments to be completed at home may be given. These are meant to discuss possible obstacles, blocks or inhibitions in a gradual way. In conclusion, the sex therapy can lead to a broader form of psychotherapy, given that there may be underlying individual or relational worries.
- Pelvic floor therapy consists of teaching how to have good control of the pelvic floor muscles. Insight is provided into this issue and into how the pelvic floor muscles work. This muscle group is, among other things, important for closing off the bladder, but it also has a role to place with sexual intercourse and orgasm. Pelvic floor therapy is an individual trajectory tailored to the patient. Your partner may also be involved.
- Treatment with medication is a possible supplement to thes forms of therapy.
