Practical information

When should you visit a fertility specialist?

When should you visit a fertility specialist?

The inability to achieve pregnancy immediately can be a source of stress for both partners. But it’s also not at all unusual to try to conceive naturally for a year.

Couples who are unable to conceive after one year are advised to contact a fertility specialist. Do you have concerns, an irregular cycle or medical history? Are you older than 35 or simply have questions? You are always welcome to contact us sooner for a conversation or to undergo testing.

Fertility treatments are not limited to the most visible option — IVF — and they often do not need to be invasive. Fortunately, we offer varied, ever-improving treatments to help couples who would like to have children. The treatment that is most indicated will, of course, be chosen in consultation with the patient.
