Patients undergoing medical treatment, examination or procedures that do not require hospitalisation are accommodated here.

The focus is on high-quality care and smooth transitions. We keep the patient's stay here as short as possible.

This day hospital sees oncology and non-oncology patients alike for diagnostic testing, anti-tumour medications (e.g. chemotherapy) and/or blood-product treatments. Every departmental nurse at this day hospital has a professional qualification in oncology and completes ongoing training, ensuring exceptionally professional and high-quality care.

We offer seniors the opportunity to schedule multiple consultations and any associated examinations in one day at the Geriatric Day Hospital. This is possible at both Maria Middelares General Hospital and St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze. More information on the Geriatric Day Hospital can be found here.

You can always contact the Geriatric Day Hospital of St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze by telephoning +32 (0)9 387 72 67. This can be done on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8.30am to 4.30pm each time.

You can submit a request online via eForm, available in each GP's global medical record and for Maria Middelares General Hospital and St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze. The request is then processed as quickly as possible by the nurse at the Geriatric Day Hospital in consultation with the geriatric specialist.
