Health-education sessions
Please note
The information on this page applies only to patients of St Vincent General Hospital in Deinze.
One Health Education session consists of two lessons and is supervised by a midwife. Breastfeeding, labour and delivery and caring for your baby are covered in detail. In the last lesson, you will also get a tour of the Maternity Unit and Delivery Unit.
Classes are interactive, from 7pm to 9pm. A maximum of six parents-to-be with a similar gestational age are admitted per class. The Health Education sessions are organised in collaboration with gynaecologists, paediatricians and Child & Family, and are fully reimbursed by the NIHDI.
Would you like to have a look behind the scenes at the delivery unit and our Maternity Unit? Then watch the videos recorded by our midwives.
