Our care domains
Our hospitals' intermediate and long-term care wards and medical departments are clustered into six care domains based on substantive criteria and defined by patient pathways. These areas of care include:
- Internist pathway
- Surgical and cardiac pathway
- Short pathway
- Chronic pathway
- 24/7 pathway
- Operating facilities
For the Care Ward, the mobile team represents the seventh care domain.
The domain managers of each of these care domains have a weekly meeting to discuss ongoing projects. Some medical care experts work across multiple domains and also meet on a regular basis. Pilot projects are launched within a specific domain, with the intention of implementing them hospital-wide afterwards.
